💚 Register your charity shop

Charity shops can swap on Uswapped with a verified profile and higher listing limits. Every shop is checked by our team before anything goes public.

How it works for a charity shop

  • 🏪 Your shop, clearly labelled. Every listing shows your shop name, the “Verified charity shop” badge and your address.
  • 💳 Members buy by card, pay in credits at your listed price, or swap one or more of their own items, and collect in store. No postage and no parcels. They get a 6-digit collection code to show at the till, and you enter it to complete the order. Card sales are paid to your charity’s bank account once you hand the item over. Credits go to your balance.
  • 🚫 No swap fee for you. You can accept or decline any swap offer, and the buyer’s protection fee on a card sale is paid by the buyer.
  • 📈 Higher listing limits than ordinary members.
  • ℹ️ About credits: credits you earn can be spent on other members’ items or donated to charities on the site. Paying credits out as cash is not available.

How we check

  1. You tell us about the shop and the registered charity behind it, and send one piece of proof.
  2. We look the charity up on the official register and contact the shop using the charity’s own published details.
  3. Only then does the profile go live, with a Verified charity shop badge.

Not a charity shop? You don’t need this. Ordinary members can swap as normal.

1 · Your sign-in

This creates your Uswapped account, which will run the shop’s profile. Already have an account?

Sign in first

We’ll send a link to confirm it. The shop can’t be approved until you do.
At least 8 characters.

We may ring this number to confirm the shop.

The charity

Ireland: your CHY number or 8-digit Registered Charity Number. UK: your Charity Commission number.

Who manages this profile

Ideally an address on the charity’s own domain. We’ll use the charity’s published contact details to confirm, not just this one.

Proof

A photo or PDF (under 6 MB) that links you to this shop and charity, for example a staff or volunteer ID, a letter on the charity’s letterhead naming you, or a recent invoice or utility bill for the shop’s address.
